One of the most challenging issues for felines and their owners can be how to conceal the litter box when it is located in a space shared by both. The TrendyCat Box is an attractive and functional solution to that problem. It is sized to accommodate either a large or a jumbo litter box while still remaining a reasonable size. It offers the flexibility of interchangeable panels to allow entry from either end for felines and is sturdy enough to be used as a bench by their humans. A hinged lid locks itself in the fully open position to allow easy access for maintenance. Handcrafted from sustainable bamboo, the Box blends well into any room or decor.
The TrendyCat Box is 24.5" wide, 18.75" high and 20" from front to back. The interior dimensions are: 23" wide, 16.5" high and 18" from front to back.
Available in two shades, natural or a medium brown shade produced by caramelizing the bamboo during the manufacturing process.
Features- Strong enough for use by humans ... The TrendyCat Box can function well as a bench for additional seating and is especially useful for that purpose when placed in a mudroom or entry area.
- Interchangeable end panels ... Allow maximum flexibility in positioning. You can swap the end panels so that entry for your feline can be arranged from either the left or right ends of the Box. The entry panel opening is 7" wide by 9" high, which will accommodate most felines. If you need a larger opening, the panel can be removed completely leaving a 12.5" wide by 10.5" high opening.
- Natural odor control ... is provided by the Zeolite packet mounted to the underside of the lid. This is a natural volcanic rock that absorbs odors by binding them to the surface structure of the rock. If you notice a decline in the performance of the packet, it can be "recharged" by removing it from the box and placing it in direct sunlight in a well ventilated location for a few hours.
- Flexible interior layout ... allows the use of either a large litter box, with a "walk off" area for your feline or can accommodate a giant/jumbo litter box. (No litter box is included.)
- Handcrafted in the USA, the TrendyCat Box has been carefully designed for durability. The Box is constructed of sustainable solid bamboo and birch plywoods, not particle board, MDF or other inferior materials. It is completely finished with durable, non-toxic satin polyurethane on both the interior and exterior. The Box is shipped fully assembled and ready for use.
